Sir,
I have 6.49 cgpa from Manipal Institute of Technology.
How much is its equivalent in US and CANADA?
I want to pursue Masters in petroleum engineering.
Please advise .

Greetings,Thanks for reaching out.  I am glad that you would like to pursue ms in petroleum engineering.  Approximately your current cgpa would equal to around 2.7 gpa (north america).  It’s a bit low to get accepted into some of the finer universities.  However if you can score well in GRE (total score of 1200 or more), your chances will increase depending on where you plan to apply.  Even with your current cgpa, I am sure you would be able to get admission into other well known universities.  Where do you plan to apply?  Look forward to your reply.
