On the internet I see a lot of conflicting opinions on whether it is indeed easy or difficult for international students to get a job in an american oil company once you\’ve studied there. Could you shed some light on this situation? Assuming that the student has completed his Master\’s Degreem in petroleum engineering from one of the reputed universities in the United States.

Considering that you’re a post graduate (international student), I firmly believe that you will have many opportunities within United States.  Despite what you’ve heard on the Internet, the oil sector is open for all… Ultimately it depends on your character and skills to lure the major companies to hire you.
